MIPAL studies various technologies of machine learning and artificial intelligence including deep learning, a highly spot-lighted area in recent years, and researches on applying the latest algorithms in this eld to such areas as image processing, computer vision, and signal processing. These studies can be applied to a variety of smart devices including automobiles and robots, which can be used as an infrastructure to enrich human life.
