Prof. Kim’s research group uses functional and molecular neuroimaging to understand the neurobiology and neurochemistry of cognition and to investigate the neurochemical changes associated with neurodegenerative processes. Prof. Kim is also working on the development of imaging biomarkers that support drug development and imaging-based PK/PD studies of drug candidates. Prof. Kim’s laboratory employs a range of techniques including preclinical and clinical molecular imaging, in vitro and in vivo neurochemistry and pharmacology, and laboratory animal and human behavior.
