2014년 11월 3일?MARG 석사 1학기 재학중인 임현기(기타치)가 그의 첫 솔로 싱글 앨범인 ‘Blind’를 발표했습니다.
이 앨범은 기타,건반,드럼 등 락 세션의 실제 연주를 녹음하여 샘플링을 이용한 다수의 힙합 음악과 차별되는 사운드를 들려줍니다.
석사 4학기 재학중인 재즈 베이시스트 권세준, 뉴욕 출신 랩퍼 Joje, 댄싱9으로 잘 알려진 무용가 이루다 등 다양한 사람들과의 협업을 통해 완성되었습니다.
각자가 ‘Blind’라는 주제로 자신만의 상상력과 감성을 더해 완성된 는 ‘보이지 않는다는 것’에 대한 인간의 근본적인 불안함과 격변하는 감정에 대해 표현하고 있습니다.
곡의 작곡과 프로듀싱을 맡은 임현기 학생은 이 곡에 대해 “자극적인 요소를 줄이고 어두운 감정을 물 흐르듯 자연스럽게 표현하기위해 노력하였다”는 코멘트를 남겼습니다.

3rd of Nov, Our master’s student Hyun-Gi Lim(Gitachi) released his first single album .
This album was recorded with real instruments such as guitar, piano and drums to make a hip-hop with rock sound.
Various people(another master’s student Sejun Kwon(bass), hip-hop musician Joje(rap), famous dancer Luda Lee(chorus) etc.) participated in this album to collaborate their artistic ability and express an emotion of anxiety come from Blindness.
